Work With Us

What’s holding you back from feeling like yourself again?

If you’ve tried to think your way through anxiety, trauma, or disordered eating and still feel stuck, you’re not alone.

I offer therapy across Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers, and online, integrating psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, somatic experiencing, nervous system work, and subconscious approaches to support anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and emotional wellbeing. Rather than just talking things through, we gently work with what’s held in the body, at your pace, building safety first so deeper, lasting change can unfold.

Why I work this way

Many of the patterns we struggle with, like anxiety, overwhelm, disordered eating, addiction, or self-doubt, don’t live in the conscious mind alone. They’re often held deeper in the nervous system, the body, and the subconscious patterns shaped by our experiences. While insight can help, lasting change happens when we gently work with what’s happening underneath the surface.

My approach integrates somatic experiencing, nervous system work, hypnotherapy, and subconscious therapies to support deeper, body-led healing. Together, we create a safe space to build awareness, untangle stuck patterns, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and lasting.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Many people come to this work feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected from themselves, or simply aware that something in their life no longer feels sustainable.

You also do not need to know which modality is “right” for you. Our work together is guided by what feels most supportive for your nervous system and individual experience.

If you are looking for a space that is compassionate, nervous-system-informed and grounded in working gently rather than forcing change, this work may be supportive for you.

  • Sessions are collaborative, supportive and guided at a pace your system can actually hold. There is no pressure to share everything immediately or to push beyond what feels safe or manageable for you.

Depending on your needs, sessions may draw on somatic experiencing, hypnotherapy and nervous system-informed breathwork to support emotional processing, self-awareness, regulation and deeper change.

Each session is tailored to you, rather than following a fixed formula or approach.

  • Most of my work can be offered effectively online, including hypnotherapy, somatic and nervous system support, and 1:1 sessions. Many people find online sessions feel deeply supportive, as they are able to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own space throughout the process.

At this stage, breathwork sessions are offered in person only. My style of breathwork involves hands-on facilitation and body-based support to help the nervous system move through stuck cycles, tension and held energy safely and gently. Because of the nature of this work, in-person facilitation is an important part of the process.

  • No. You do not need to know which approach is best for you before beginning.

Our work together is integrative, meaning we draw on different modalities depending on what feels most supportive and appropriate for you and your nervous system in each moment.

  • Somatic work gently brings awareness to the connection between the body, nervous system and emotional experience.

Often, stress, trauma and emotional patterns are not only held in the mind, but also within the body and nervous system. By slowing down and working with these responses gently, we can begin supporting greater regulation, safety and reconnection over time.

  • No. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process and you remain aware and in control throughout the session.

Many people describe hypnosis as a deeply relaxed and focused state, similar to becoming absorbed in a book, meditation or daydream. You cannot be made to do anything against your values or wishes.

  • This will look different for everyone. Some people come for support around a specific issue or life transition, while others choose to work together more deeply over time.

Healing and change are not always linear, and there is no one-size-fits-all timeline. Together, we work at a pace that feels supportive, sustainable and aligned with your individual needs.

  • All emotions, sensations and experiences are welcome. This work is not about pushing you into overwhelm or forcing emotional release before your system is ready.

We move slowly and collaboratively, with a strong focus on safety, regulation and capacity. You are always in choice throughout the process, and sessions are guided with care and attunement to what feels manageable for you.

  • This work is trauma-informed and nervous-system-informed, meaning we work gently and carefully with the body, emotions and subconscious mind.

Rather than revisiting experiences in a forceful or overwhelming way, the focus is on building safety, regulation and capacity over time, while supporting the processing and integration of what may be held beneath the surface.

  • Facilitated Breath Repatterning is a style of nervous system informed breathwork. This is an approach that works with the body gently and intentionally, rather than pushing for intense emotional experiences or breakthroughs.

Using conscious breathing and body awareness, breathwork can support regulation, emotional processing, stress reduction and reconnection with yourself in a way that feels grounded and supportive.

  • That is completely okay. Many people arrive knowing something does not feel right, but struggling to put it into words.

You do not need to have a perfect explanation for your experience before beginning. Often, part of the work is gently creating space to understand and reconnect with what has been difficult to access or express.

  • No. While talking can be an important part of the process, healing does not always happen through words alone.

Through somatic work, hypnotherapy and breathwork, we can also work gently with the body, nervous system and subconscious mind in ways that do not require you to explain or relive everything in detail.
